Working with the Bear Valley church of Christ has been a tremendous joy.  The Lord has blessed my family and I in many ways, the opportunity to work here at Bear Valley is no exception. This congregation is composed of some of the greatest Christian examples I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.

The Lord has blessed me with a beautiful and godly wife, Alicia. No man could ask for a better companion. After receiving a B.S. degree at Southeastern Oklahoma State University I moved to Denver Colorado to attend the Bear Valley Bible Institute. I met Alicia while enrolled in school at BVBID. Two weeks after graduation (with a Bachelor of Theology degree) Alicia and I got married (on February 16, 2008).  We have been working with the Bear Valley congregation since that time.  During my time here at Bear Valley I have graduated with a Master of Biblical Studies degree. Also, Alicia and I had our first child. Emma Lynn Bookout was born on May 11^th 2009.  She is a beautiful baby girl as you will see in the picture below. 

Alicia enjoys reading (especially Jane Austen), piano, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.  My interests are sports (as a spectator and participant), exercise, camping, reading, and writing.
