Our Mission

We bring glory to God by the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God.

-Eph 4:12-13

Mission Works

The Bear Valley Church of Christ supports a number of domestic and foreign missions. Among them are:

Carey and Bonnie Samford in Arusha, Tanzania.
Chann Lork and Sochee Lork in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
Jeff and Tia Brauer and Jeremy and Rebecca Korodaj in Padova, Italy
Edison and Doris Gruber in Crownpoint, New Mexico, USA
Dave and Ingrid Howard in Granby, Colorado, USA
Terry and Marina Harmon, in Gorlovka, Ukraine

By far the largest mission work we conduct is The Bear Valley Bible Institute of Denver. This preacher training school has been in operation since 1965 and continues to train preachers for work in the pulpit as well as the mission field. To date over 600 preachers have been trained through the school. Currently there are graduates of Bear Valley working in 39 states and more than different countries around the world. The school offers Bachelor's degree, Master's degree programs and has satellite campuses in the United States, Africa, and the Ukraine. Visit the school's website to learn more about this work.
